Medium: Soft Pastels on Pastelmat

The Moon this night was calling from afar. It felt like it was in a land far beyond my home planes and so I embarked upon experimentation with materials I've not used much before.
 
It felt good to use my fingers on a new surface, working the soft chalk pastels into this special paper... layer upon layer... it took it all.
The music playing added to the mystical feel of the Moonshine ... lighting the way over the water and across the sky.
