This painting was inspired by the song 'Just to Know You' by Snatam Kaur and Peter Kater
 
I've lost count how many times I have listened to this song. 
It has been in my heart since first listening to it when a dear friend shared it with me and one evening some time after,  I felt compelled to pull the paints and canvas out whilst listening to it again.
 
The brushstrokes and dabs came through like a new wave of energy bringing forth the light that shone so brightly.
