I knew this was was going to be abstract before I even started - with just an intuitive feeling of flow and a connection to our planet.
I began looking for music...to 'get into the groove' and I knew it had to be something with that feeling of flow.
And so I found 'The Ocean' by Oxygene with a beautiful video. In fact...it was the video that got me into meditative state first... totally mesmerised and taken into flow by our beautiful sea mamals, I began with droplets of blue and green on the canvas.
The white that is interwoven mostly in the top section of the canvas represents the frothing waves that the dolphins created in their leaps and dives along the way.
Throughout painting, the feeling of a certain wanting...a cry for support and understanding and connection was coming through.  A love deep-felt and being broadcast. As I was nearing the finish of this painting, I had the feeling of needing to release...to cleanse the rubbish...the dirt...the debris of what us humans leave behind for other species to deal with...what doesn't serve...and from this came forth the tears, after which all felt serene.
